  • We will work to make sure you feel safe and supported during your sessions. This is important so you can talk about your experiences without feeling scared or overwhelmed.

  • You get to decide what we talk about and how we approach your healing. You’re in control of the pace and direction of your therapy, which helps you feel more empowered.


  • It’s normal to have strong reactions to trauma. I will help you understand that your feelings and responses are valid, which can reduce self-blame and increase self-compassion.

  • You’ll learn how to recognize and handle situations or things that remind you of your trauma. With new coping strategies, you can better manage these triggers and maintain your emotional balance.

  • Trauma can make you feel isolated. we’ll work on rebuilding connections with yourself and others, which can help you feel more supported and less alone.

  • During your first session, we'll discuss your concerns, goals, and any specific issues you’re facing. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions you might have about the process. We also make a plan for future sessions so we have an idea of what they look like and where you'd like to be.

  • While talking about your trauma can be challenging, it's often a crucial part of the healing process. The goal is to help you understand and manage your trauma in a way that reduces its impact on your life.

    I work to ensure that discussions are approached at a pace you're comfortable with and will use techniques to help you cope with any distress that arises. While it may feel difficult at times, addressing trauma can ultimately lead to greater emotional relief, improved coping skills, and a sense of empowerment. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, we can adjust the approach and provide additional support to help you through the process.

  • Discussing the details of your trauma may become part of the process, but it will be done at a pace that you find manageable. I work to use several techniques to help you process the trauma gradually and constructively, ensuring that you have the tools and support needed to cope with any distress that arises. The goal is to help you heal and move forward while respecting your boundaries and individual needs.

  • I work with individuals only. I see clients ages 13 and up. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and relational & attachment issues.

  • Yes it is, I currently accept Aetna, Cigna and Anthem BCBS. 

    For all other insurances, you may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will support the cost of our services.

    Additionally, I can provide superbills and accept HSA/FSA cards.
